north carolina

A few things I learned about myself on this trip to Virginia and North Carolina:

 

1. I am addicted to long car rides through the mountains. 

2. My lungs are pretty sucky, but it doesn't stop me from hiking.

3. If I spend enough time around my family, my inner southern drawl comes out and "y'all" enters my vocabulary.

Grandfather Mountain

 

When I was at the top of Grandfather Mountain, my favorite thing (besides the VIEW) was just sitting back and watching people watch the world. Many of the photos I took in that spot were of beautiful strangers who had no idea that I took their photo. Those are my favorites.
