lavender heaven

This weekend marked the first of many little travel adventures I plan to take during my time in Europe. Something I like to remind myself is that you don't need to go big in order to have a big adventure. Sometimes all it takes is a train ride out to Sutton, England to visit a beautiful lavender field and frolic with Lily. 

 Lavender is my absolute favorite plant, and Mayfield Lavender Farm is now one of my new favorite places. We walked through the sweet smelling field in the rain, ate lavender scones, with lavender tea. I bought lavender lemonade, and smelled like the plant for the rest of the day. It was absolutely lovely.
