white cliffs of dover

This past weekend I ventured out to the White Cliffs of Dover with two very sweet folks, Lily and Richard. The cliffs are right along the edge of England, looking out towards France, and literally every view we had along our hike was just grand.
I came here once before with my family when I was five years old, and got chased by a wild horse. So it has quite a special place in my heart. There may not have been horses out today, but I got the chance to form new memories. We hiked a narrow path in the rain, and lucky for me, I was with Lily and Richard, two people who keep very good spirits in the rain. One of my favorite parts of the trek was stopping at a lighthouse for a rest stop, and having tea, hot chocolate and scones in the sweetest tea room.

Can't beat the views, and can't beat that whipped cream in my hot chocolate. Marilyn
