New York, year 1
After spending a year in New York City, I have truly found a home here, and leaving for three months is going to be pretty brutal.
The quality of life here is just indescribable, because every single day is one-of-a-kind. The lively city life, freedom to wander the streets whenever I please, everything just feels so free. I look forward to returning to the freedom in August.
This year held a lot of stories for me, and a lot of memories, and for my own personal scrapbook I've listed some of the most notable blessings of Freshman year:
1. meeting Jennifer Lawrence and being on Good Morning America
2. being blessed with roommates who are now sisters to me.
3. climbing trees in Washington Square Park
4. my final photography project show at school with my wonderful photography friends
5. all the crazy celebrity sightings
6. the blizzard that shut down all the streets of Manhattan at 1am
7. seeing the immersive theater experience, "Sleep No More"
8. performing a very personal monologue with my Artists' Bible Study about why I love photography
9. exploring abandoned buildings on Staten Island
10. all the long nights spent in the Tisch Photo Department, and out with my classmates
