every little moment

My friend Sylvia wrote "Marilyn, make every moment count" on my white board last week.

 

 That day we went out thrift shopping, and to the park for a wonderful picnic. Later in the week I had the pleasure of going sailing with her on Lake Michigan, and the weather was absolutely perfect. 

 

Basically, there were a lot of moments in the past week that were really worth something to me. Not just because we were out and about, taking a polaroid photo for every memory we made, but because I was with the same girl who told me to make every moment count, and she wanted to be there with me to make those memories. I just really, really value these friendships, and I value adventurous, kindhearted people like Sylvia.
