My brother and sister-in-law came to visit me in New York, after almost two years living here, and I was SO overjoyed to finally have the chance to show them around my neck of the woods.

There are a lot of times when I forget that my brother and I are adults. But when he and his wife fly out from Texas to visit me, and have brunch with my girlfriend and I outside my home in Union Square, with no parents involved, it's hard to forget that we are indeed adults. It's a wild and liberating feeling.
