brighton my day

Lily, Emma and I soaked up some sunshine in Brighton this past weekend, and made the full rounds of this colorful beach town on the southern coast of England. I had some bomb lavender flavored gelato (a big thank you to Sharon Wu for your suggestion), we rode a roller coaster along the water's edge, and had rock skipping contests along the shore. 

It is so rad to be living and traveling in a country that offers so many different landscapes, with such rich history. I can't quite wrap my head around the fact that I've been in Europe about a month and a half already, and it only makes me appreciate every single day more.  

 

Marilyn
