aruba in february

This February, I went on my first beach vacation in many, many years to the beautiful island of Aruba! I was lucky enough to accompany Leah and her parents on this getaway, and the week brought us colorful architecture, ocean breezes, and an incredibly fun UTV tour among the deserts, cliffs, and natural pools of Arikok National Park. That was absolutely my favorite part! (scroll for some glam shots of Leah and I in our dust-protection attire)

This trip was also a chance for me to change things up, creatively, since I wasn’t able to bring my big DSLR around everywhere (or just opted to save her from the sand) I focused on a different kind of documentation this time, trying out more artistic, abstract photographs, as well as my typical style.
