to the outskirts and back

We did have plans for today. But they constantly changed as the day went on, and eventually we found ourselves exploring all sorts of new depths of Chicago.

After our cab ride took us to a closed vintage warehouse (we thought it would be open) and left us stranded miles outside the loop, we knew this day was going to be an adventure. We found our way back to the city after quite a lot of walking, taxi hailing, and mini photo shoots to pass the time.

Once in the loop again, we rewarded ourselves with Rachel's favorite, macaroons, as well as urban outfitters, and noodles.

But my personal favorite risk of the day was running out in traffic during a red light to shoot a picture of Elizabeth on Monroe Street.
