My roommate, Shayna (second from the left in the first photo) invited us all to her lovely home in New Jersey for Shabbat on Friday night, and then Rosh Hashanah on Saturday! That means not only did I get a mini vacation this weekend, but I became an honorary Jew for a few days. It was fantastic to learn so much about Jewish culture, and spend some time with the incredibly gracious Blecherman family.
