Rockefeller dreams

It was the last day before classes began for me, and I had no idea what to do. I came here to New York for many reasons, and one of those reasons was being close to NBC studios, Late Night, SNL, and of course my love: Jimmy Fallon. So I decided shortly after my roommates had left that I would work up the courage to take the subway alone up to Rockefeller Plaza. I had to snag a Tonight Show shirt, and who knows? Maybe I'd get lucky and see some celebrities.

I got lucky.

A girl with a badge walked up to me in the NBC store and asked if I wanted to see Seth Meyers rehearse his monologue in the studio. for free. no catch. ummmm YES PLEASE. So what started as a lazy day alone turned into a New York City dream for me. Seth was so sweet, the writers we met were hilarious, and all the while I couldn't believe how crazy this all was. To top off the cake, I bumped into Questlove (drummer in The Roots on Jimmy Fallon) and we took a rocking selfie.
I feel so blessed. Only in New York.

no pictures allowed in the studio, which was killing me, but nonetheless it was all amazing.
