goodbye loves

My week had consisted of constant meals with different people as sort of a "last supper" ordeal before we leave for college.  It's so strange.  Any change is strange, but I feel as if it's a movie playing out, with each sweet farewell. There are three girls in particular whom I know I will miss wholeheartedly. I will miss Janelle's guidance, Allie's humor, and Elizabeth's inspiration. Most of all I'll miss their kindness, because I can say with all my heart that they have been the best influences on my life thus far, and I am proud to know them each and every day. I believe God put them on this earth for a noble purpose, and I'm glad we can have this friendship last.

(aaand I'm a fabulous photographer. sorry Hasier's face. oddly enough, I still like this.)

and then there's me!

words cannot tell how much I'll miss them, and how much I love them. But I can expect breakfast dates for years to come, no matter where we end up. And that's what I hold on to.

xoxo Marilyn
