a morning at loulette bridal

A couple weekends back, I was invited to a wedding pop-up event at the beautiful Loulette bridal boutique. The event, hosted by the amazing Luv Collective, was not only a chance to meet other creative women in the wedding industry, but a chance to be inspired in more ways than one!

As someone who is just brushing the surface of wedding photography, and still in the first chapter of building my own photography business, this event nourished my soul and set me on a path of determination and motivation. I’ve been kind of metaphorically wandering around in my own head with what I want to be doing with my creative practice. I know what feels right, but I don’t always know how to achieve it.

But after a morning of yoga, chatting with brides-to-be and creative women, making pressed flower art with the help of the incredible Framed Florals, I knew I was in the right place for me. I had more fun than ever anticipated, and knew I wanted to integrate these feelings into my career. Just the sense of community and creativity that comes with this industry, and practicing mindfulness in such a beautiful space made me so thankful to be included.

After yoga, the ladies at Loulette let anyone try on dresses and explore the space, which gave me a chance to capture some photos of the amazing loft!

This feels like the beginning of a journey of creative exploration, and I am so grateful for this inspiring morning!
